Long since covered

If you include the HD-DVD drive, sure, I guess it's technically "cheaper". But as far as value goes, there's no comparison. 360 has better games now, better games in the pipe, and Live seriously is "teh awsum".

You missed the analysis I was referring to. That was in the feature-for-feature comparison (in which the PS3 blows the 360 out of the water in price. But I didn't even refer to that obvious fact in my post above. If you look again, I said "if you like online").

As shown in the linked post, the second comparison given (which is the online comparison that I was referring to in this thread) simply used the comparable models with no add-ons - and the PS3 is still cheaper.

*shrug* Irrelevant to my post. Those are soft, subjective reasons, which indeed are perfectly valid for individuals... however, as soon as someone opens their mouth about "expensive" and "cheaper" [which the poster did above], then that's an economic argument, the results of which are conclusively proved in the economic analysis linked to previously. The numbers are what they are, whether certain "fans" like it or not.

Everything else is subjective (ie. price isn't an arguing point if online is involved), which I did not refer in any way to in my original post in this thread. I'm certainly not going to argue with peoples' personal preferences.
