Reminds me of this scene from Battlefield 3 . . . maybe more like the descending god from Actraiser...i felt like GOD when this started playing. it's one of those.
Okay, so I know exactly what you are referring to and I couldn’t get the song out of my head for about a week. What made it even better is I really, really, REALLY hated that villain, so when it came time for the boss battle, I was very hyped. I actually consider that the best fight of the game, better than even the final boss. So satisfying when I won that one! There was a little game released a few years back called Baldur's Gate 3. It was an indy game and didn't get a whole lot of press, so you're forgiven if you haven't heard of it. There's one particular boss fight you start and of course the boss music comes on like you would expect. But it doesn't take long before you hear a woman singing. Oh, wow! A boss fights with lyrics! But as you progress, a male voice starts to sing, and you realize it's the boss singing to you during the fight. It was so unexpected, I couldn't help but laugh quite loudly.
I cheated and used barrelmancy to defeat him. It was a satisfying victory though.Okay, so I know exactly what you are referring to and I couldn’t get the song out in f my head for about a week. It’s so beautiful and I’ve never had more fun being incredibly sad during a game in my life (is that weird?)Listen to the soundtrack of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. You will thank yourself. And then play the game. You will thank yourself more.
Unless you are fluent in French, in which case play first and then listen to the OST.
Same! You kind of have to in order to blow up those pillars, I think, but it was such a glorious moment.I cheated and used barrelmancy to defeat him. It was a satisfying victory though.
No shame, that fight is hard as hell*I cheated and used barrelmancy to defeat him. It was a satisfying victory though.
bf3's campaign was basically just a poor man's black ops 1 campaign, but yeah, this was a good moment. somehow a completely different yet not that different vibe from the part where the song i was talking about plays.Reminds me of this scene from Battlefield 3 . . . maybe more like the descending god from Actraiser...
