You would unleash the madness that is Barrens General Chat on the world?! You monster!WoW without chat moderators.
Definitely more Phantasy Star. If I could find players, I'd have bought the new TTRPG, because I love the Swords & Lasguns setting.Phantasy Star -- not a specific PS game, but a cluster of PS games in a kind of renaissance, as part of Sega's big back catalog push. A tactical RPG, a Western action RPG like Mass Effect or the Witcher, a true roguelike and an action roguelite. Hell, give me a side-scrolling beatemup and a proper 1-on-1 fighter. Or an anime tag fighter, even. Gimme some TV, too, live action and anime. Just more Phantasy Star. MOAR PL0X.

I mean, 8Chan already exists.WoW without chat moderators.
Also, if you want unmoderated chat, just make a Discord server.I mean, 8Chan already exists.
But seriously WoW without moderators would rapidly degrade into just nazi trolls - because any totally unmoderated chat with enough people in it always does. Because nazi trolls have no self-awareness, no self-control, no sense of decency, no sense of decorum, no ability to self-edit, enjoy causing harm and distress to others, and are highly motivated to be the worst people they possibly can, that's why they're nazi trolls, their brains don't work well. So they'll be spewing the most vile stuff imaginable into chat, like, way, way worse than the worst Barrens Chat that ever existed, including graphic descriptions of pedophilia (I've seen this happen in WoW, so don't try and tell me it won't lol), actual criminal threats which would get various law enforcement agencies involved with your game (again, has actually happened in WoW), and because they're doing that, and no-one can stop them, people who are even moderately okay human beings will pretty quickly ditch your game.
So basically you'd just have set up an expensive to develop and maintain MMO solely for nazi trolls to talk to other nazi trolls. Maybe not the best plan.
Licence them out to Obsidian.I’d love to see 3d remakes of Fallout 1 and 2. I own the originals, have replayed them many times, but remakes in the vein of Fallout 3-4 would be a ton of fun and might make the early entries of the series more accessible. Unfortunately, Bethesda seems to be a shell of its former self so I wouldn’t have much confidence in them being good if announced today.
