Vista with ETools

What has anyone experienced with Vista and ETools? I make heavy use of ETools in my game preparations, but now need to get a new laptop. Does ETools work under Vista?

Most likely it will work although obviously I won't be testing that theory

You may have to run it in Administrator mode, but this is no great inconvenience *cough*

(RPGXplorer has to run in Administrator mode, but given that they had to patch Visual Studio 2005 for Vista we don't feel too guilty).

I guess PC-Gen would be dependent on how Java copes with Vista. I have no knowledge of this.

I just got my new home PC last week as my previous one died (and took my baby's birth photos with it GAH), I put Vista on this and I have to say it's fantastic IMHO.

PCGen runs fine. Heck I'm actually running vista64 which should have even more complaints. But the benefit of Java - if java works - the program works. And it does.
