... Are these German jokes or something?

Also, what do people think of the article itself?

Looking at the ToC, WotC needs to step up what articles they're putting out. Dungeon is almost full, yes, but there are a lot of missing articles for Dragon.

I couldn't really read in depth yet, but it looks interesting.

I find it interesting that the "PoL" setting is fleshed out this much, and I wonder if - despite their original intentions - we won't see a "Points of Lights" setting sourcebook eventually? We just need to find a good name (unless "Points of Lights" count).

I think it's more probable that the "Points of Light" become a regular series in Dragon, akin to the Demonomicon. Then, a sourcebook would be more of a compiliation and a DM's book full of fantastic locations.

Since the "setting" isn't tied together by a big overland map, you could produce more "points" indefinitely. And if they can keep the quality up, this could become a nice resource. Though it strikes me as a bit more fitting for Dungeon than for Dragon.

Cheers, LT.

Agree - I'm finding it surprising that PoL is being so developed. However, since I'm running a pretty much straight-down-the-line PoL campaign this is great news for me. So far, I'm finding everything that's being published is usable - though as my campaign world fills out it's obviously going to get harder and harder.

This article continues the high standard we've seen so far for 4e Dungeon/Dragon material as far as I'm concerned. My only problem is going to be how to use it all considering that my players will be doing Keep on the Shadowfell and its successors for at least the next two years!

Another great article. I'm finding this stuff immensely useful for my game. Though I won't use the article word for word, Tiefling ruins figure heavily in my campaign and I'll be lifting things liberally from this piece.

I was just about to say "Von Kragal? Sounds more like a guy's name than a city name, like if you called a city 'Sydney' or 'Melbourne', HAW HAW" but then I noticed that it was actually VOR Kragal. Which makes a big difference!

That's Baron Haupt von Kragal to the likes of you!
