Waffles from the Mongoose

Yup, you can get potato waffles even here in the States, at least in the state of Maine. We used to have a place in Portland that made some really nice ones, gone now but warm memories live on.

Eh? All the waffles I've ever eaten, or made, consist of flour, eggs, oil and milk. Potato waffles? Must be a British thing.

I've had potato(e) {thank you Dan Quayle} waffles and pancakes before...although zucchini (sp) pancakes are good to...not sure if that batter'd make good waffles.
