Wall-E

I -loved- this movie. Love love love. I managed to get to an advance screening, and then watched it a second time on its actual opening night -- and it was fantastic both times. I hate to admit it, but I like this even more than Finding Nemo, and that was my all-time Pixar favorite. If you haven't seen it yet, go now. Don't waste another second.

Same guy did both, so I don't think he'll mind. ;)

I bet that HAL is spinning in his grave about now and complaining about WALL*E's main antaganist being a blaintant rippoff.

But if HAL met WALL*E he would discover that WALL*E was a decent guy, and then he would have no complaints against WALL*E.

Wow.

The Pixar people are wicked good. They turned a song from Hello Dolly into chase music, a roach into a symbol of fidelity and a trash compactor into a hero. And most of that was done without dialog.

"Define dance..."

And the ending credits themselves were nifty.
