Wall of Force in an Anti-Magic Field

In the description of Anti-Magic Field, it says that it cannot penetrate a Wall of Force. With that in mind, could you cast a Wall of Force *inside* an Anti-Magic area? For instance if you're friends are being spanked by a Beholder's Anti-Magic cone and you are outside of it, can you put up a barrier between them and the Beholder, thus negating the Anti-Magic cone? (For a little while anyway, before the Beholder figures out something is funky and disintegrates the Wall ).

You may not be able to take down a wall of force with an anti-magic field, but I don't believe you would be able to create a wall of force within an anti-magic field either.

The anti-magic field would negate the magic before the all of force is created.

But Antimagic Field suppresses effects, it does not dispel them.

If you cast a spell into an existing field, does the spell fizzle? Or does the spell come into effect already suppressed, and "resume" when the field goes away?

If the latter, you could cast the Wall of Force for no apparent effect, only to have the wall pop into existence when the beholder closes its main eye. The wall would then refuse to disappear when the main eye opened again!

Better yet, does the spell you cast come into effect later on at the point you designated or at the boundary of the Anti-magic area closest to you? Note that if you so much as cross the threshold of an anti-magic area, no matter the source, all magic ceases to function.

An antimagic field suppresses any spell or magical effect used within, brought into, or cast into the area, but does not dispel it. Time spent within an antimagic field counts against the suppressed spell's duration.

It's the "cast into" part that bothers me, because it contradicts this:

The space within this barrier is impervious to most magical effects, including spells, spell-like abilities, and supernatural abilities.

It seems like an Antimagic Field should block Line of Effect, thus making casting into the field impossible.
