Getting orders out for the corebooks is my number 1 priority where as it's probably Wal-Mart's #167th priority.

Would you be willing to meet Amazon's total cost (including 1 day shipping) if I cancelled and ordered from you? I don't expect you to meet walmarts but I ordered there to save the money while doing 1 day delivery but if you met amazon's it'd give me a reason to not use them as they've never not once gotten a book to me the day after on time or earlier.

I can't believe you'd stoop so low.

My order says it should arrive sometime between 8-05 and 8-11. They never bothered to email me, even though I ORDERED FRIGGIN' THREE MONTHS AGO! So anyway, I just fired off an email to see if they'll give it to me for free or something. If they don't cut me a nice deal, I may take the jump over to Mr. Talon. 10 bucks isn't that big a deal for me at this point. My oil-stained PHB (never leave a semi-open can of oil and your books alone together in a car trunk) has seen better days. Shameless man, shameless.

I feel more or less the same. Let us know what response you get.

On the one hand, I'd like to jump ship and get them for sure within days of the 18th. On the other hand, the walmart.com dates are so unpredictable that it may yet arrive around the 18th...and still be cheap....particularly since, like you, I ordered it 3 months ago.
