Wanna ride a Triceratops?

Hey, I'm always putting together custom battlemaps for my Barsoom campaign. I'm pretty proud of this one, so I thought I'd post it. Lemme know if you find it useful/cool/funny.

"Trike" is colloquial term for Triceratops on Barsoom. This is actually an Advanced Triceratops, made Gargantuan instead of simply Huge. The howdah is mounted on the creature's back, and the driver (mahout) sits in a raised platform atop the animal's great big neck frill. Because triceratops don't have particularly flat backs, their spinal ridge projects up through the middle of the platform.

Note: banners are suitable for swinging from. The platform is covered by a canopy 15' up.

Season Four of Barsoom starts today, and we're starting off with a rampaging triceratops chase through downtown Petrahegna, with assassins aboard!

Excellent map barsoomcore! I didn't expect much from looking at the thumbnail, but it looks great! Crisp, Simple.

What graphics program do you use?

Barsoom, kengar- So cool it makes my head hurt.

Because I'm a Macintosh user, I use a wonderful Mac program called Create from Stone Design Software. It's sort of a cross between Illustrator and InDesign. I use it for all sorts of stuff.

Here's a couple more I did for Dead Man's Chest -- a pirate ship in 1" scale.
