If Trancejeremy were some bystander on the street talking loudly, you'd have a point. I can't avoid a loud guy. But I didn't expect to walk into a Flightplan thread and read a spoiler for a completely different movie, one I'd been meaning to see for a while. That's just crappy netiquette. I didn't care to see Flightplan at all, but I'd heard it had a really stupid twist and I was curious about what it was exactly.Dagger75 said:That movie is 4 years old, tough luck.

Joshua Dyal said:And actually, The Others was a quite good movie. If it wasn't for the release of The Sixth Sense shortly before it, it would have been even better; it suffered from a severe sense of deja vu as it was.

Tarrasque Wrangler said:Besides, what's this "4 years old" jive? Who are you to say what the statute of limitations is on giving away surprise endings? I don't go around telling people exactly who carved up Janet Leigh in Psycho, even though I expect most people who haven't even seen it know by now.
Well, there's usually a few consistent voices of folks who apparently don't like any movie ever made. Then there's usually a few off-the-wall complaints about how some esoteric little bit-part in the movie "ruined it for them."Ankh-Morpork Guard said:Oh, come on, you've been around long enough to know that people will complain here more than priase.
Well, yeah; like I said, it was predictable, because if you had already seen The Sixth Sense it was like deja vu. Now, I haven't seen the movie in three years or so, but I certainly don't remember anything about the acting or the writing being subpar; quite the opposite, in fact. What about it didn't you like?Crothian said:I didn't think it was good, it felt predictiable and the writing and acting were sub par.
Beats me. My parents thought it did, and they're pretty accepting people when it comes to movies (too accepting, IMO!). I can't say speak for myself in this regard since I didn't (and won't) see this movie.Joshua Dyal said:Did anyone who actually saw the movie think the big reveal falls apart? My wife and I didn't.
Only crappy movies that one doesn't like.Is it cool to hate movies or something? I don't get it.
