War Mind Prestige Class

HI all

A couple of questions on the War Mind Prestige Class

it is a PRC with a seperate progression for powers/points instead of the +1 manifester level.

A)so If I have a Psi war(5) and start war mind do I keep trakl of My Psi War and War mind powers and power points seperatly, like I would for say 2 spell casting classes, or do they share the same list. and does manifester level stack to determine overall manifester level?

B) so now i'm a Psi War 5, war mind 10, and I begin a 3rd PC say elocator, which gives +1 manifester level, can I increase my war mind Manifester Level, as that would take me into Psuedo epic territory?

Thanks

A) You would keep track of powers and PP seperately for each class. The only thing I am unsure of is bonus PP (like from feats and racial). If you get +1 PP for your race, do you apply that to each class that gets PP or just one? I'm not sure...

B) The +1 manifester level increases ONE of your manifesting classes, your choice. You may switch choices each level as well (I think). So at Level 1 Elocater you can apply the +1 manifester level to your PsyWar and at Level 2 Elocater you can apply that +1 manifester level to War Mind (or back to Elocater if you want to).

I'm almost positive that this is incorrect. I believe all PP from every source are combined. I'm not near my book, though, and you may be able to find the reference before I can.

PC is correct. pp from all classes are put together into one big pool, although powers have to be kept separate.

Cheers

From the SRD

"Multiclass Psionic Characters
If you have levels in more than one psionic class, you combine your power points from each class to make up your reserve. You can use these power points to manifest powers from any psionic class you have.
While you maintain a single reserve of power points from your class, race, and feat selections, you are still limited by the manifester level you have achieved with each power you know."

Ok Thanks for al the responses

SO a Psi war[5] War Mind [10] has a minifester lvl of 5 for his Psi war powers and a manifester lv of [10] for his War Mind Powers Right.

So now if the Character gains a lvl in a class which adds +1 mnifester lvl

he can add +1 to either of his manifester lvls and gaing powers known and ppts as if he had gon up in that class right.

now how does that wrk if he choses war mind, cause A war Mind 11 is an Epic Character, can he do that or is he forced to choose psi war to increase his manifester lvl?

Thanks again

Jeremy

There is no 11th caster level for the War Mind (unless you use epic rules and are epic), so you have to put it into PsyWar. At least that's how I see it

I'd agree. There's no pseudo-epic; if you've maxed out war mind, you'll have to out it into the other class to gain any benefit.

Not exactly. You combine the manifester levels of psionic classes for determining power effects and PR penetration, but keep them seperate for determining the amount of PPs you can spend on a power.

So in your example, all of your powers have a manifester level of 15 for penetrating PR and determining range, duration, and so on. But you can spend a maximum of 5 PP on the powers you learned as a PsiW, and 10 PP on your War Mind powers.
