War Torn Novel results

Just out of curiosity, has anyone heard back from Wizards about their war torn novel proposal submitted in August? I have not received any word and wanted to make sure it was not just the mail screwing up.

Darn. Thought by the title that somebody had heard something.

Although I s'pose that if someone had heard who won, and I hadn't heard anything, then I couldn't have won. So this is good news for me...

Yeah, I had the same reaction!

The word on the Wizard's forums is that about 300 people entered. It is safe to say that a documented 10% of us haven't heard anything. Which means nothing, of course. They told Kameron Franklin that he had won a couple weeks before everyone else found out.

I think Keith Baker found out he won the setting search when he was suddenly illuminated in bright light, levitated in the air and spun in a slow circle while intoning: "I HAVE ASCENDED!"

... but that's just a rumor.

Heh. But does the documented 10% mean that many other peopel have heard stuff? I thought nobody had heard anything. Or am I just misreading you?

Sorry, I should have been clear:

On the wizards forums we have this thread: http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=361845&page=2
That thread links to this post by Mark Sehestedt
http://worldsofdnd.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=128&start=45

So between all the threads (including this one) we have about 30 people who know nothing. There are about 300 people who entered. Ergo, 10% confirmed people who do not know anything.

But I'll admit that doesn't really mean much. Just that if you haven't heard anything to not give up hope!
