When I come home from college over Christmas break, I'm planning on running a small D&D3.5 campaign for my friends -- most of them are getting ready to dive into World of Warcraft now -- and I'm considering using the Warcraft d20 rules. Most of my players have a decent amount of experience with D&D, and while some do tend towards the combat over RPing, it's Warcraft -- there should be lots of combat. With that in mind, I'm curious to hear what other people think of the system. Are there short or long-term balance issues with classes and combat? Are the new class/feat/equipment options fun, and are they effective enough to warrant using? Most importantly, is it fun?
