Warcraft RPG update

What is their take on dwarves?

I never understood. Griffen riding, thunderbolt wielding, marksmen. Always made them out to be some sort of crypto race. Probably hiding squat alien masters with shapeless caps deep beneath the earth. Using their bizarre technologies to aid the easily duped side of light until the time came for the Hihoining. Then the horns will blow and off to work they will go.

I am patiently waiting for Fields Of Blood to come out to incorporate kingdoms, wars, and running nations before I start with WC. I would imagine they would be covering all of that too, but I don't want to wait that long... then again waiting for FoB has been an exercise in frustrating disappointment so far.

Between Mongoose' OMCS and CBS, Cry Havoc, War, and the miniature game, there's no real need for Fields of Blood anyway...

Depends on the clan. The one in the core book is more or less traditional, with a splash of gnomish inventiveness and slightly different abilities. Another type, the wild gryphon-riding ones, are supposed to appear in the Alliance & Horde Compendium.

The Alliance & Horde Compendium for the Warcraft RPG will be containing mass combat rules lifted from Cry Havoc.

Really? I guess there won't be any kingdom-running rules for the PCs in it then. I am kinda hoping the additional rules will have something that covers running trolls and other races that were 'left out' of the PC races available. I wonder if they are gonna lift that from Savage Species.

Trolls, gnomes and some other races will be included as PC races in Alliance & Horde.

STILL can't believe trolls were left out of the core book!

Vengence for Zul'jin!
