You know, of all the questions I'd love to ask Bob (given that the game industry is somewhere I'm seriously looking at post-grad), it's the funny ones that actually make their way out. Like this one, it's been bugging me all day now: Your choice of screen name. Is Beazel Bludstone an old D&D character who makes a cameo in the computer game, or is it just the other way around? ;) I almost laughed out loud when I read this. You're asking this of a Blizzard employee? To be more specific, not even a marketing guy who might make something up for you on the spot, but an actual Blizzard programmer? :D ;) You all remember in The Matrix, where they're running away from the agents, everything is going well and it looks like they're going to make it, then they see the cat walk by twice? I just got that sort of "uh-oh" feeling here, dunno why. Maybe it's just that the sort of campaign I want to run has the vast majority of its focus in Azeroth and later Lordaeron - I would really really like to see a supplement with some cultural and demographic information on the eastern continent pre-war and during. Oh, and a massive unified timeline - I'd like to be able to say to players something like, "Sir, word from the south is that most of the expeditionary force didn't come back through the portal. Bit of cheerful news today though, Admiral Proudmoore is now the father of a healthy young daughter." Thanks again for taking your time to answer our questions, guys. I love the Warcraft world, it's great to see it getting a proper treatment. --Impeesa--
