Warduke is coming to Dungeon #105

my problem i guess is the commercial sell out nature of the "plush" toy line.

Warduke has asked me to inform you that he objects vehemently to being referred to in any way as "plush," and that he will be paying a visit to you at home real soon to discuss the issue.

I agree that he should have some, but he can't meet the Requirements of the Assassin PrC. He is high enough level to have the required 8 ranks in Move Silently and Hide, so maybe when he goes up a level he can take up the Assassin PrC. ;)

You could use the Green Ronin assassin core class.

I just took a look at the new picture of Warduke (very cool). I hate to say this but I think Strongheart is dead probably to help the duke get from 12th to 13th level. I'm sure the pregenerated characters from Quest for the heartstone is a little shorter now. Poor Peralay. :(

Hi Erik! :)

The Dungeon version has about 12 levels on this guy, to say nothing of a much sexier helmet. :)

Top stuff...but didn't he have a Frost Sword in the cartoon? :p

My Advanced Dungeons and Dragons Character Colouring Book (TSR 1985) also includes:

Aurelia, Female Human Good Ranger
Foxfingers, Male Human Evil Thief
Caruso, Male Bard (human? half-elven? can't see his ears...)
Helayne, Female Human Evil Illusionist
Silverain, Female "Good Fighter Elf"
Filaree, Good Female Druid (bizarre... weren't all druids TN in 1E? Anyway, she looks sorta half-elven)
Charmay, Female Human Good Wizard
Garn Graygaze, Male Gnome Good Illusionist (/Thief?)
Merrygold, Male Halfling Good Fighter/Thief

Interestingly, it very clearly labels Figgen a thief.
Zarak is "a very evil character". "He makes his living by killing people."

Dang, DnDChick, that's some pretty cool work. I'd quibble a bit over the ages of Hank, Eric, Diana and Sheila, but what can I say? I'm a big geek. :D

Upper_Krust: Yeah, Warduke had a souped-up frostbrand that was powerful enough to freeze Dungeon Master into a cube of ice.
