Hi folks,

I just would like to know what do you think of the following feat

Incarnum Enhancement [Warforged]

Incarnum flows through your body and makes you tougher.

Prerequisites:
One Warforged feat

Benefit:
You can invest essentia to add a +1 bonus / essentia invested to your AC or to your Attack Bonus or to your Damage.
No matter how much essentia you invest, you can apply it only to one of the three giveen options above.

Special:
This feat gives you one essentia point.

Interesting idea..

It seems a little bit too flexible though.. AC or Attack or damage?

Generally, most incarnum feats boosts one thing only.

Also, there should be the usual paragraph as how the essentia is locked into the feat for 24 hours. Thus making you really think about putting essentia into the feats

As is, the feat is really good for a meldshaper - like having three extra soulmelds (albeit with no base effects or chakra binds - just bonuses for essentia), that you can switch essentia between as a swift action. A little too strong, IMO.

Also, you missed the "obligatory" blue stuff.. Indigo, cerulean, midnight etc..

Incarnum fortifies your artificial body with soulstuff.

Prerequisites:
Con 13, One warforged feat

Benefit:
Once per day, you can invest essentia into this feat. You gain an insight bonus to your AC equal to the invested essentia. This AC bonus does not apply when you are flatfooted. Once the amount of essentia invested is chosen, it cannot be altered, and remains invested for 24 hours.
You gain one point of essentia.


How did that sound? it is still strong, as an insight bonus to AC is nothing to sneeze at.. As written it benefits normal AC, and touch AC. Alternatively, it could be written as benefiting flatfooted AC, but not touch AC instead - perhaps more intuitive, functioning more like an armor bonus?
