Warforged & Improved Resiliency Feat

Tetsubo

First Post
I was looking at the Races of Eberron book yesterday and read the Improved Resiliency Feat designed for Warforged. It makes the Warforged immune to Nonlethal damage at the sacrifice of not being able to Regenerate or have Fast Healing. Which got me thinking... does this mean that a Warforged with this Feat can now ignore environmental effects of cold and heat? Can they ignore the "damage" from long distance Running? Could a Warforged with this Feat essentially Run all the time without penalty?

Yes.

Since the rules don't cover overland movement rates for Hustle or Run how would you stat them?
Easily. Multiply by x2 for Hustle, x4 for Run. So a Warforged with this feat and good roads could run at 12mph, covering 288 miles in 24 hours. Which is pretty damned impressive. Cross-country movement would probably be restricted to a hustle, which is still a respectable 6mph, as fast as a good ship.

Now make him a monk.

Warforged with Scout levels and the Run feat.

Now we're talkin'.

Oh, and Boots of Striding and Springing.

With 1 level of Barbarian, and take a bunch of Speed of Thought's (Psionic feat that adds +10 movement, and I believe stacks with itself).
Nope, it doesn't in 3.5.

SPEED OF THOUGHT [PSIONIC]
The energy of your mind energizes the alacrity of your body.

Prerequisite: Wis 13.

Benefit: As long as you are psionically focused and not wearing heavy armor, you gain an insight bonus to your speed of 10 feet.

That does stack with boots of sprining and striding or Monk abilities though (not both).
