Warhammer 40k background question

Thanks Entsuropi!

I've been tooling around with the idea of adding some 40K elements into my sci-fantasy homebrew. This information will come in handy!

The best bit of information about the Emperor I found was in a section about humans who had been possessed by daemons. I couldn't find the text I remember in the link above but perhaps I just missed it. The humans had faced daemonic possession and "escaped" so they were now golden children of the emperor or something.

Sensei? If so, it's in the file above. Search the document [Ctrl+B] for Sensei and you can check them out.

I always wanted a sensei warband. Good guys hunted by the inquisition. That's right up my alley. To bad they were never released so I had to settle for Eldar. Eldar are great if winning games is your thing.

That would rock. It's a fabulous setting with depth and absolute... 'darkness'.

There are -no- good guys in 40k.

The upside to this is that "is it evil to set babies on fire" arguments will be kept to a minimum. :D

I am going to have to read through this sometime. I gave up on WH after a £250 odd binge on it, but I still love the setting.

Green Ronin have the rights to Warhammer 40k RPG. It's slated for spring 06 I think?

And the document was found... somewhere. There are some websites floating around that are dedicated to old old 40k fluff. I think I got that from another forum though, in a thread 100% similar to this one ;)
That is why there was a 'wink' at the end of my post, I did not hear it was to be out in 06 though.

Its no accident that Red Spire hired Adrian Smith -- they wanted a similar visual look.
To be precise, we were seeking a specific caliber and style of artist whose vision meshed with ours. I love all of Adrian's work, not just his Warhammer material. :) Most of the art in the forthcoming Campaign Guide is penned by other artists, by the way. And though it may sound like blasphemy, I'd say it's even better than the Player's Guide, which was exclusively illustrated by AS. The Campaign Guide positively drips with ooey gooey dark and tasty atmosphere. ;)
