· Carrion Call: In which a young noble's dying wish leads to peril in a strange old mansion.
· Rought Night at the Three Feathers: In which a quiet evening at the inn becomes very eventful indeed.
· Sing For Your Supper: In which a simple kidnapping is the appetizer to a main course of horror.

Whoa.

THE Carl Sargeant? The same as the author the famed Night Below adventure box Carl Sargeant? The same Carl Sargeant that achitected the From the Ashes era of Greyhawk?

Eric Anondson

Yes, the very same. Plundered Vaults consists of three older adventures updated and revised to the new rules and three brand new adventures. Carl wrote two of the older adventurs, Grapes of Wrath and the Haunting Horror.

and I have it - I dance my dance of joy - just started to read it but a very beautiful book, broder art, lay out, and color scheme. One minor minor issue, page 220 and 221, map of the old world, spread over two pages :( (I have a map from White Dwarf so not big to me) but that is it.

Ah, I was wondering if you somehow got him to come out of his reputed RPG retirement. So this is actually crediting him for work written a while ago, rather than getting him to author new stuff? Correct?

That's right. Credit where credit is due and all.

No one really knows where Carl is, as he left the game industry about ten years ago in a spectacular flame out.

It's funny how nobody seems to leave this industry calmly or quietly. ;)

Seriously, that's too bad. He's one of the "old greats" that I'd love to work with at some point.

I am just glad to see the game back in existence after a long hiatus. With Green Ronin behind it I am really confident that it will be a great product.

Thanks, Keeper. We appreciate the vote of confidence. Getting to handle the 2nd edition was a design dream come true for me.
