[Warhammer] Is Liber Chaotica Fluff or Crunch?

I enjoy reading the various Warhmmer Fantasy Novels.

I don't like the Wargame.

I've never played the RPG.

I see they just came out with a Liber Chaotica Complete Background Book (Compilation of previous books).

I can't tell from the description wether its designed for the Wargame or just a general set of stories/tales/facts about Chaos as told by various sages/wizards etc.

In short, from a Fiction Standpoint vs. a Gaming Standpoint, how do these guidebooks fit in?

The complete "Liber" is pure and utter fluff, with not a crunchy bit in sight. If you love the Warhammer / 40K background, you'll love this!

I have some of the old books where they were divided by deity, and they are pure fluff.

Pure fluff. Basically they are an investigation into Chaos by one guy who slowly becomes mad over the course of the series. It is Fantasy based, with the 40K stuff shown as 'visions' experienced by the narrator. Definitely worth getting.
