For a warmage, Extra Edge is necessary ASAP. You can also look at every other feat that will help you increase accuracy and damage on your spells, like Weapon Focus: Ray, Touch Spell, or Projectile Spell, as you can even get the equivalent of Weapon Specialization for them. Point Blank Shot, too.

You should also look out for that feat that lets you add a cleric domain to your spell list. It is very nifty for a warmage, but the domain has to be chosen with great care. Travel is nice.

What are the best feats for a Warlock?

To better avoid being a one-trick pony because of their small number of invocations, I like the Extra Invocation feats.

Point Blank Shot
Precise Shot
Empower Spell like ability (useable on EB at 6th level)

If playing at higher levels:
spell penetration
greater spell penetration

Cheeseier Options
wild talent (or use a psionic race) + Psionic Shot, Greater Psionic shot, Psionic meditation
(expend psionic focus for +2d6 or +4d6 per shot, regain focus as move action instead of full round)

Hellfire warlock + wand of lessser restoration

extra invocation
boost spell-like ability
mortal bane
empower spell-like ability
Battle caster (if you take armor prof or some other class that makes you proficent with it)
their is a new feat in the drow book that lest you upgrade darkness to deeper darkness and another that would let you cast it as an immediate action that would be good if your a rogue/warloc

The real thing to know is look at the epic feats and get ready for them if you plan on playing that long.

Go Hellfire Warlock now.

15: Improved Initiative
18: Extra Invocation (Eldritch Doom)
