Warlock Metamagic Feat Choice.

I have a warlock character and I want to take the Wild Mage PrC (CA) but one of it's prerequesites is 'any metamagic feat.'

So my question: Are there any metamagic feats from which a warlock can benefit? I would hate to "waste" two feats for an otherwise snazzy PrC.

Never mind, I stopped reading with my eyes closed and saw that the Sudden Feats work fine.

Since metamagic feats basically modify spells and the warlock doesn't actually cast any, a metamagic feat isn't going to help you in any way other than to get you into the PrC. You could ask your DM if he'll let Empower Spell-Like Ability or Quicken Spell-Like Ability count as a metamagic feat (officially they're not) for the purposes of the PrC.

Good that you mention those because I don't quite know how they work for Eldritch Blast as it keeps rising in equivalent spell level. I think I know I have to be 16th level before I can choose Flee the Scene for Quicken SLA but I'm not sure how it works for EB.

Also, can I take Ability Focus (EB) and does that raise the DC of all the Essence invocations? Or do I have to pick one?

Sudden Still is very advisable, if you pick up the Dimension Door incantation, which you then can use in a grapple 1/day.

Quick note: the errata from the WOTC site is that eldritch blast is always base 1rst level it is not 1/2 class level as originally stated. Only the various warlock abilities modify the level.

Wasn't there also an errata that said that the Sudden Metamagic feats do not work on Spell-Like abilities? I could have imagined it, but I can't seem to remember where it says that the Sudden feats work on them. Could someone provide a quote?

Since Complete Arcane says bluntly that the Sudden feats work with Invocations and SLA (CA p71-72), and I have the feeling that Warlocks were most of the reason for their existance, I highly doubt there is such an errata.

The Warlock class description, under Eldritch Blast, specifically states Ability Focus (eldrich blast) improves the save DC of all saves associated with Eldrich Blast.
