Warlock + Mystic Theurge

there is a divine/warlock prestige class in the complete mage, if you'd like an official source. It has some nice perks, including the ability eventually to deliver your warlock invocations in your spells.

Im fairly certain they do, but is the Warlock a viable arcane class to meet the Mystic Theurge requirements.

If the pre-requisites for Mystic Theurge only refer to caster level ("Must have a caster level of 3rd level or higher" as opposed to "Must be able to cast 2nd level spells"), then yes. If not, then no.

Yes, but invocations are spell-like abilites and Im certain that spell-like abilities count towards such a requirement. Thus invocations like Baleful Utterance and Beguiling Influence would allow a Warlock to become a Mystic Theurge.

Complete Arcane on pg 18+ is very specific on this.

"A warlock cannot qualify for prestige classes with spellcasting level requirements, as he never actually learns how to cast spells."

He can qualify for caster level requirements and those that call for a specific spell (or spell like ability, if he has learned the appropriate invocations).

I agree that Warlock cannot be used to qualify for Mystic Theurge.

Eldritch Disciple from Complete Mage does the same thing (advances both Warlock invocations and Cleric spellcasting), and gives you some additional class abilities as well (unlike Mystic Theurge, which only advances spellcasting). It also has a d8 hit dice, 3/4 base attack, a good fort save and a slightly better skill list.

The only drawback is that it requires Cleric levels (it has a Turn/Rebuke prerequisite), which is a problem if the OP wanted a fey-based Warlock/Druid flavour.

Does it require Turn/Rebuke Undead? Otherwise you could go with one level of the Earthshaker PrC to get the Earth Domain ability to Turn/Rebuke Earth Creatures. But that needs 9 levels of Druid to get into.
