Effect thematics: your Eldritch Blast appears to be a parrot, flying towards your target. Normally a black parrot, but it's red and yellow if you use Brimstone Blast, green if you use Vitriolic Blast, etc.

For race consider Aventi from Stormreach. You lose the feat and skill bonus, but you get the Aquatic subtype, can breath both air and water and gain a swim speed of 30'. There is also a bit about casting water spess at +1 but I am not sure how much that would come up with a warlock

We are about to start a seafaring campaign soon I am thinking about creating a warlock. The character concept is a seafarer either be it a pirate or privateer.

what about a Cleric/Pirate that could summon/control undead ala the first Pirates of the Caribbean film? Also, I've heard of people playing Vampire Ninjas before, why not a Pirate Vampire Ninja? Who's race is Drow? Who snowboards on weekends?
