Warlords at D&D XP?

Gargoyle

Perhaps I've missed it, but I see no information on the warlord. No sample characters, no scoops, no new rumors...anything new revealed about them?

Maybe the designers listened to us whiners after all and the warlord is being revised or even renamed.
Or maybe he is lying bloodied somewhere, with a lute smashed across his head and the bard will take his place in phb1. I heard the bard was ready so there’s still hope (I also hope they gave up the "otherworldly patron" cr…stuff.)

Of course, this is all speculation, personal taste and wishful thinking so no need for all the warlord lovers to gang up on me :)

Warlord, not Warlock

Don't feel bad, I've done it myself. I expect we'll be making this correction a lot in the next few years.

one more reason to change the name :heh:
I am not a big fan of the warlock either, so that might be some freudian slip.

So what's with the hush? Did anyone ask the staffers about the warlord?

The least they could have done was change the previous king of misspelling: the Rouge...I mean Rogue.

I guess no info. Also, no official stats for dragonborn either, at least none that I've seen. I want to see a dragonborn warlord!

But I want all the info now!!! :]
Same here, but I think we are not going to get it :( My players hate playing any religious characters so I always end up DM NPCing a party Cleric- I am sick of them. With 4E maybe one of them will be a Warlord, if not I'll be DM NPCing a Dragonborn Warlord FTW!
