Warmage - a sorcerer bloodline

Sure, one could use the 3.5 Warmage almost straight from the book, or a wizard of the Evocation school. But looking back over the 3.5 class it occurred to me - Warmage could work as a bloodline. So here's a build idea off the top of my head (a little incomplete).
Warmage Bloodline
Perhaps you were descended from spell casters who fought in great battles, or were born near an ancient battlefield. Your blood cries out for you to prove yourself on the field of battle.
Class Skill: I'll come back to that
Bonus Spells: I'll come back to that
Bonus Feats: Light Armor Proficiency, Medium Armor Proficiency, Arcane Blast, Arcane Shield, Any metamagic feat
Bloodline Arcana: If your Bonded Object has a magical enhancement to attack, you apply the bonus of the magical enhancement to all touch and range-touch rolls.
Bloodline Powers:
Bonded Object: At first level, you develop a powerful bond with an object in the same way a wizard can (See: Wizard, Arcane Bond class ability). You cannot choose to bond with a familiar instead of an object.
Armored mage: At third level, you gain Arcane Armor Training (Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Core Rulebook, under feats) as a bonus feat, whether you qualify for the feat or not. At 9th level, you gain Arcane Armor Mastery (Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Core Rulebook, under feats) as a bonus feat, whether you qualify for it or not. Penalties to attack for not being proficient with a particular armor still apply, including to touch and range touch attacks.
Level 15: ?
Level 20: ?

What's not filled in is stuff I haven't though of (yet).

Hmmm, possibly focus bonus spells on protection and/or mobility? So, Shield, Mage Armor, or Mount - possible bonus spells. (Lots of first level possibilities.)
Protection from Arrows - ditto.

Leave the attack spells to player choice.

Cool idea!

The original was heavy on offense with few protection spells. I think we can broaden that a bit, but my inclination would be to stick close to the original: sort of a blend of evoker and sorcerer.

Bonus Feats: Light Armor Proficiency, Medium Armor Proficiency, Arcane Armor Training, Arcane Armor Mastery, Enlarge Spell, Empower Spell, Maximize Spell, Spell Penetration, Greater Spell Penetration
Bloodline Arcana: When you cast a spell that inflicts hit point damage, you deal additional damage equal to 1 + the spell level.
Bloodline Powers:
Magic Dart (Sp): You can create an evocation force effect, as magic missile, that deals 1d4 + (1/2 your sorcerer level). You may use this ability 3 + your Char modifier times per day.
Warmage's Destrier (Sp): As the spell mount, but the duration is ten minutes per level. This ability can be used multiple times until the total duration is used up. You gain a bonus to Ride checks with the mount equal to your caster level. At 9th level, the mount gains the benefits of spells air walk and water walk whenever desired.
Cool Ability: At 15h level,...
Cooler Ability: At 20th level,...

what about the warmage edge? have the bonus from charisma?

That's kind of where I was going with my idea for the bloodline arcana. Cha doesn't make a lot of sense; Int creates MAD; it's a potential source of scaling problems to have an ability add to something when it normally doesn't.

Why not tie the edge amount to Sorcerer levels? +1 damage for every 2 or 3 Sorcerer levels.

I went a slightly different way to avoid over-scaling low level spells, but sure. 1/2 sorcerer level would be almost exactly like what I suggested, but would boost 1st spells as much as 9th level ones.

Instead of the Arcane Bond, give the warmage edge at first level. It will still only add 1 damage through 3rd, 2 until 6th, and then give them the armored mage like you have it.
