Water Elementals - Unique and Fun Abilities

What are some unique and fun abilities to give Water Elementals? Not necessarily give them all the abilities but one or two to keep it interesting. I am not sure how to balance these.

Some initial brainstorming...
- Heal while in water
- Suffocate when not connected to water (use drowning rules)
- limited shape change. Like an ooze they can go under doors etc.
- Have +10 hide in water
- Have +10 to disguise themselves as a pool of water
- A certain amount of cold damage slows them
- Hot water elemental can also cause burn damage
- Frozen water elemental is slower but can cast cold spells

Cool ideas! Let's see...

Fast healing while in contact with a body of water of at least equal size (let's not have the elder elemental fast healing while touching a glass of water).

Suffocation: Eh. They already can't go more than 180 feet from the body of water from which they were conjured (MM entry).

Limited shape change: Formless. This gives them the ability to go through holes/cracks of any size.

+10 to Hide/Disguise: Good call.

Cold damage slows them: Also a good one. Call it... hmm. It's not quite vulnerability to cold. I'm not sure.

Hot and cold running elementals: Hehehe. Those could be interesting variants; say you summon an elemental from a pool of arctic water, or a hot spring. Give the hot water one a steam breath weapon? :D
