Waterdeep -- map included?

Does anybody know if the new Waterdeep sourcebook has a poster map included?

Yes, it has map(s) but I'm not sure if it is a poster map.

There is no poster map. There are a bunch of single page maps for each district.

So, it's more like -- say, the core books -- than it is like the other FR books?

It's glossy, and there is no poster map. Otherwise, it's a FR book.

why did they have to go away from poster maps. I loved those.

At a guess... money. Posters are expensive to print in small quantities, and expensive to comission as well.

But maybe Dungeon Magazine will consider it.

Theres a Waterdeep special coming up in Dragon Magazine and Eric Boyds doing a series of Dungeon modules set in Waterdeep
