Lesser Vigor. Level 1, avaialble in wands, potions, etc... At CL 1, gives fast healing 1 for 11 rounds.

There's also the Combat Focus feats from PH2. Combat Vigor gives you fast healing for 10 + [Combat Focus feats] rounds after you first land a hit in any combat. It's Fast Healing 2, 4 if you have 3+ Combat Focus feats, though you need to be like level 12 to meet the requirements for it.

Warshaper prestige class is your friend! With 4 levels you'll end up with:
- immunity to crits and stunning
- increased natural weapon damage
- +5' reach with all your attacks
- +4 Str and +4 Con, both untyped
- fast healing
- other stuff that doesn't suck

I highly recommend the Saint template from The Book of Exalted Deeds. It takes a great deal of effort to obtain it, but the template has so many other awsome abilities and benefits that it's more than worth it. It's the perfect template for a Paladin to aspire to.

Saint is a pretty sweet template but it's waaaaaay underpriced at +2 ECL. Most right thinking GMs won't let it go for that cheap especially if it is applied to anything righteous like a paladin, cleric, or monk.

I got away with +2 only because the base character was a child.

A glowing, golden child.

There's also Divine Metamagic (Persistent Spell) Mass Lesser Vigor - fast healing 1 for the entire party all day (if your DM permits it, and the Cleric in the party is ameniable).

My favorite way of getting fast healing like ability is one level of crusader with the martial spirit stance. Basically, you beat people up to heal yourself. And if you need to, you can beat someone up with non-lethal damage to heal them of real damage. Its like in those action movies where you slap someone who just got shot and yell "You don't die on me yet!" and they wake up.
