way to repair sundered magical items

Is there a way to repair sundered magical items and keep the enchantment it had ?

I can only think of the mending spell then re-enchant the item again.

Someone with th ecorrect item creation skill(s), can do it. Unless I missed a change from 3.0 to 3.5 ... if you have craft arms and armor, and find a sundered Longsword +1 ... for (IIRC) half the cost of making the sword anew (gold and XP alike), the sword can be reforged, "good as new", with it's magical abilities intact.
