Ok. Fine. How about banking the did that is clearly stealing. That seems pretty fn clear.I did, a few days ago. We talk about movies and other geek things here as well as D&D.

I keep reading this subject like as "we really need a hug," which checks out, given the tone around here at times.
I would hope that if someone, who wanted a hug, received one, it would help a lot more than temporary respite.
AI is a tough subject to tackle. There are RPG forums have banned it, but some of us can come across sorta AI-y at times. I'd hate for a normally welcoming community to exclude some of us by accident. Tough subject for sure.
Fair enough on both points, I guess after seeing a number of sub-reddits ban AI generated content and that Bandcamp has banned AI created content from it's website, I just thought it might be easyish to do the same here. So, there are two different things we could try to ban:
1) Discussion of AI.
2) Actual use of AI-generated content in posts on these boards.
The former is relatively easy - there's already subjects we can't talk about on these boards above, as I just noted. If Morrus ever feels that the subject is so volatile that it must be removed, it'll be removed. We aren't there now.
The latter is basically trying to make the moderation staff into judges of whether content is AI-generated or not, as no trustworthy tools exist. I'm not a fan, and don't want that job, thanks.
