Wealth to $ table

First Post
I don't have my books with me (loaned them to one of my players) and I need to ballpark some equipment DCs.

Can someone give me the wealth to dollar conversion for DC 5, 10, 15, 20. That ought to be enough for tonight.

I'm pretty certain we aren't allowed to post non open game content from WotC (or any publisher's) books here. Perhaps you should call or email your friend for the information?

I mean, while I'm 100% sure you personally are asking for the reason you say, what you've asked for pretty much gives the entire closed content progression of the table away.

Just an observation - I'll leave it to the moderators to say otherwise. :)

This request easily falls within the "fair use" principle.

Thanx Klaus.

IANAL. What does this mean?

In any case, I've never understood the reason why some things are left out of the SRD while others are included. I understand the specific monsters (illithid, etc...), but why the experience tables or thee tables?

I'm guessing, but I think its because WotC wanted folks to point back to their books for this info instead of having it available in someone else's sourcebook.

I think you're right. It's just annoying having to either memorize the formulas or lug the books around. Like statting NPCs and having to ballpark their equipment costs, etc...

Plus a useful rule of thumb for the wealth table +8 to the purchase DC multiplies the dollar value by 10. -8 to the purchase DC divides it by 10.

So Klaus has actually provided you with the values for 5, 13, 21, 2, 10, 18, 26, 7, 15, 23, 31, 4, 12, 20, 28...

or listed more sensibly
2
4
5
7
10
12
13
15
18
20
21
23
26
28
31
...

(ok, so I think the real table has a few variations from this, but it works well enough that I though it made sense to rationalise the whole table onto this basis)

Cheers
