That's the problem with non-public polls. I'm not saying it's happening here, but I think anonymity encourages dishonest answers. Although you will get fewer responses in a public poll, I think the results would be more accurate.

LOL. More accurate? Than what?

These polls are not a serious effort. They are fun, and that's mostly it. Attempting to use them for anything else is foolishness. They are grossly unscientific and the audience for them is extremely limited.

Still, we do try and do the best we can , don't we? And it IS fun to get a general idea of how folks here on this board feel about certain things.

Agreed (and it can be a decent indicator of what one might expect when sitting down at any random gaming table). I'd love to see more polls in regard to debates. Especially simple polls like this,

I of course voted No, but I think the extra 7 "yes" votes are sympathy votes. They aren't real.
