Issue? Well, from what we've seen thus far, Weapon Finesse will allow you to apply it to any melee weapon that fits the feat requirements, rather than having to buy the feat seperately for say, the short sword and the rapier.
I don't believe anything has been mentioned to change the attack/damage roll applications of the feat. The attack roll of the melee weapon has dex bonus rather than strength added. The damage roll continues to use the strength bonus.
I would like to see that change. you are using precision to strike a more vital spot so I would rather see the dex mod used for damage (as an indicater of how precise the strike was)
let us suppose a medium-sized finesse fighter with low strength but epic dexterity attacks a nigh invulnerable monster such as a colossal dragon (a monster so well protected that you can see overlapping plates covering its sensitive parts).
I don't know about you but IMHO that well timed-precision strikes aren't going to make much dent in the wyrm's hide...while a high powered chop can cause a crease.
I can see highly agile finesse fighters doing tons of damage to creatures that is at most two size category higher than him/herself....but larger creatures would be the domain of the hulkish strength fighter, for looking for the "chink in the armor" and placing a well-timed strike versus a colossal creature would be too much of a suspension of belief for me (not to mention, not very practical).

There is no way they would let Dex be used in tohit, damage, and AC. That's insane. Unless, of course, there is a feat "Shrug off Feeble Blows" that lets me add my Strength bonus to AC instead of Dex. That would rule!
There's already a feat that lets you do more damage by striking with more precision.
It's called Improved Critical.
Think about it. That's how a critical hit is defined--by striking a vital spot. So if you want a character who's better at hitting vital spots, take Improved Crit.
In addition to the fact that it would be horribly unbalancing to let Weapon Finesse improve damage as well as to hit, there's no logical basis for it.
