How else are they going to get people to buy them? Actually the supplements are quite good and I find I'm able to use many of them on a consistent basis. All I had to do was get over the fact that they aren't perfect. :D

I don't know what was vague about it in the first place, actually. I continually see questions about one or another rule that I thought was perfectly clear. If they had somehow all been magically anticipated and put in the Player's Handbook, it would have added 200 pages.
 

you want them to put everything in one book, hahahahha

Crothian is right, its all about the money (sure people have fun, but still). If you've realized thats what wizards seems to be about (magic cards is a great example). Wizards even made the wheel of time RPG. Yes I like the books, and yes its interesting, but any DM with just a little bit of immagination could make up rules like that. It could have had a cool channeling (magic) system, but no, it had to be an almost copy of the dnd system.

Not that I hate this game, but seriously...:rolleyes:
