Weapon-specific Feats and Size Change

Then again, if a sorcerer was increased to large size, he would no longer be able to use his medium-size spell component pouch, and would not be able to cast spells with material components.

-Fletch!

Another reason why sorcerers should not use material components :D

[whine]poor sorcerers...[/whine]

Every other class does, so too bad. How about Eschew Materials?

-Fletch!

Unlike other classes, the sorcerer relies solely on himself to get new spells. Wizards get spells from books and scrolls. Paladins and Clerics get these as power from the gods, druids from nature. But sorcerers have neither their books nor a divine patron, and their spells are more a matter of intuition than scholar learning. And how do they find out that they have to use component XY for spell Z? One could even consider doing away with standard spells for them and using one of these wild/chaos magic rules out there.

And no Eschew Materials:
1. It's all just a flavor thing: Few to none DM's enforce keeping track of non-costly material components, and Eschew Materials won't substitute those with a cost. So the Sorcerer wouldn't really gain much power if you incorporated the use of eschew materials into the class.
2. Eschew materials would make the spell a full-round action, without giving you an actual advantage (unless your DM is very strict on minutes).
