WebRPG Online FREE again!

Well with me and all my online gaming, this is really good news. I used to play on WebRPG and thought it was the best, but we had to switch to Open when it went pay. I think I'll try to get the people I know to switch back. It's a really great service, better then OpenRPG I think.

No Mac OS X version, yet?

Quite wrong. It's JAVA so it runs on Mac, Linux, and PC...

Of course UGO had to get one last dig in and screwed up the transfer of the webrpg.net domain so it's down till Monday, but you could use this time installing it and playing around with it's offline mode.

Did you guys get the webrpg forums back too?

I used to be a moderator there, but gave up when everything went commercial, along with the bulk of my peers.

Mostly they have all moved to forums.RPGHost.com as we had tons of issues with the server disk getting full at UGO and eventually it trashed the database - so I said screw them and set the forums up here:

WebRPG is much more stable these days with the new Java's out there - it does run under 1.4.2 so get that from java.sun.com first. Not to mention the server I setup for it is tons faster.

ProgressQuest.... Ahh. Those were the days. We were like Gods that walked the Earth. Everquest, Ultima Online, NWN - they all paled in comparison.

My mistake. I saw options for OS 7.5-9.0, but nothing for the currently supported OS.

i had just about forgotten all about progress quest . . . all the months of therapy . . . all the money i spent . . . all for nothing!
