Hi, everybody!

I'll be running a 3.5 edition D&D game based on The Hamlet of Thumble at Neutral Ground in New York City on Wednesday, September 17 from 7pm to 11pm.

You do not need to bring anything, but a pencil, some dice, and your brilliant mind! I will have pre-generated characters ready for use as well as everything else we need to play.

There is no need to sign up in advance as it is first-come, first-serve. If you would really like to play and reserve a spot, just e-mail me or contact the manager Bruce at Neutral Ground. Feel free to drop by to say hello or watch, if you'd like.

I look forward to seeing you all there! :)

Wow, if it wasn't like a 10 hour drive, I'd so be there :D

Well, I'd save you a special spot just for you, if you did! :)

Anyhow, I forgot to give information for the Neutral Ground. Here it is:

Neutral Ground New York
122 West 26th Street, 4th Floor
(Between 6th and 7th Avenue)
New York, NY 10001
TEL 212-633-1288
FAX 212-633-0979

Their Web site is here:

If you would like to sign up in advance, please e-mail general@openworldpress.com! I've reserved three spots for people to sign up in advance. Otherwise, it is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Ed i dont suppose you want to run one of these for the En World NYC gameday? *cough*

Well, geez, Arthur, I *did* offer to run a game when you first posted that thread! :) I was even willing to give away prizes, but I can't now that Neutral Ground is carrying the book.

Anyhow, I wasn't sure if and when you're planning to run this event, but let me know and I'd be glad to help out with what I can. ;)

keep an eye and post on the main thread i have going now.

The problem is nobody wants to decide when to have it. If PC doesnt get back to me about Knights Games by monday night i'll just pick a day and run with it.

I'm not really concerned about freebies, i'm more concerned about turnout.

Post and help decide when it happens lol.

Well, if you put it at September 17, then that would save me some time!

Really, you don't need plan these so far in advance like a convention. Just announce it and see who shows up! At the very least, you'll have a few games going. :)

Sounds like fun!

Those guys from Neutral Ground played in my RPGA game at GenCon. They were awesome and made for a fun game. The shop owner (Matt?) was a cool guy and invited me to his shop - if it wasn't only an 18 hour drive!

Have fun Ed and keep up the good work.

Thanks! Have you checked out the book yet?

Yeah, I met Matt at Gen Con this year when I bumped into Henry Lopez of Paradigm Concepts. He seemed like a really friendly and cool guy. Anyhow, he asked me to run a game at this store, so that's why I'm doing this! :)

too late, i need to ask for a day off over 2 weeks in advance :-p

Matt is a kool guy. I didnt know he was at gencon otherwise I woulda hung out with him too.
