Spoilers Wednesday S2

I agree, my biggest complaint about this version is that they turned it into Monster High, yet we're still suppose to believe Wednesday is 'special' despite a relatively mundane power.

Hopefully the next iteration of the Addams's will have them dwelling amongst normies
The classmates don't really think of Wednesday as special because of her precognition. Its the way she gets **** done and takes 0 fs from anyone.

That kind of confidence is going to attract followers and respect from others.

Morticia commented that it ran in the females of her line.
Right, and unless there’s some in-breeding that we don’t know about, Goody was not part of Morticia’s family line but rather Gomez’s.

I think it was potentially a mistake to make Goody an Addams rather than a member of Morticia’s ancestry.

They could have given her any old random surname and then explained that she was Morticia’s great-great-great-grandmother or something.

I remember there being a lot of chatter during S1 that having Goody be an Addams didn’t make sense. At the time, it had more to do with how surnames are passed on, but I think it also confuses things re: Outcast powers.

That does seem like a plothole. Then again, witches do run in the Addams line. Even though they call Hester Frump "Grandmama" in the show, long-time Addams Family fans may know that the potion-brewing witch "Grandmama" most are familiar with is actually Gomez and Fester's mother, Eudora!

So it could be something explored more, perhaps in Season 3.

I just finished season two tonight, and it was, I thought, better than the first season. I agree with others who have posted earlier: I think S2, episode 6 is my favorite episode of both seasons. And now they're setting up season three to be my favorite season yet, as it's going to start out with my three favorite members of the Addams Family: Wednesday, Uncle Fester, and Thing.
