Did the use of the word "print" in this subject cause the thread to default to a print version of the thread?

Yeah, I just came here to point out the same thing. I think it's also worth noting that the thread shows up as having had only one view.

yeah, i saw it too and thought i was just going crazy.

On a similar note, about a month ago there was a thread in the meta forum that had some other word in the title which made it such that no one could open the thread (kept going to an error thinking it had something else to process instead of the standard thread view), it too also kept saying only one thread view.

Might be worth figuring out what those particular "will cause wierdness" words are -- no need to "publish them" but for the admins just to keep a personal list if they haven't started already.

It's pretty much a bug in the URL re-writing software (it appears that if the word 'print' appears anywhere in the title it shows a print preview kind of view). I've edited the title to say 'paper' instead.

That was the archive forum which needed to be renamed, but yes - basically the same problem.

Actually, there was also a thread about the "first new post" link (How Do I? "Go to first new post"), and that caused an unresolvable loop.
