Weird random event table, homosexual encounters/events.

2. In a homophobic city, there has always been a tavern which has the "worst-kept-secret" reputation being a safe place for gays and lesbians to meet and mingle. Every so often, the town guard will descend upon the tavern, arrrest the patrons for "public indecency" and make them spend a night or two in jail, roughing up a few patrons along the way. No one is really hurt, and it gives the guards something to earn their pay. One night, however, the gay patrons decide not to go quietly, but to resist. They have barricaded themselves inside the tavern, making a very public statement. The PCs are part of the mercenary group hired to put down the riot, or they have friends inside the tavern and want to help.

As another added twist, perhaps word of what has happened at the first tavern has spread, and the surrounding cities/taverns have also had problems with rioters.

Someone's familiar with the Stonewall riots.

Nobles are being murdered. At first it is quiet, and nothing is done, but finally a very important noble from an important family is murdered and there is so much outcry, the king is forced to do something. He hires adventurers to investigate. Everytime they seem to get close, another noble dies, or the party itself is attacked. Eventually, they gather enough information to implicate a petty noble, but digging deeper, they find it is the King himself who was doing the killing and who implicated the noble. Once he finds out they know, he tries to kill the PCs. It turns out the real reason for the killings is the King is in a homosexual relationship and due to politics / social pressures / prejudice simply cannot let it be known that he is homosexual. So everyone who finds out or who is unfortunate enough to be involved with him is taken care of by the king. In the end, whether the king lives or dies, the issue is finally brought out into the open, with many noble families having to admit that some of their sons and daughters were homosexual as well, and if only they could have been open about it, none of the bloodshed would have happened. Society then changes for the better.

Meh, you replied before I finished an edit. "Spartan training" refers to another time when it happened. :)
Also certain african cultures practiced this as well, not to mention cultures in the south pacific

A lesbian couple are accused of babysnatching, and both end up sentenced to heavy prison time, while the infant is given over to foster care. One of the women escapes, and begs the PC's for help in either freeing her family, or clearing her name. It's obvious that the child was stolen, even though no one has claimed the infant, because two women cannot concieve. The truth of the matter, however, is that one of the women IS the father, and was polymorphed (or changed some other way) into a woman after impregnating her wife. Simply having the enchantment dispelled could be an option, but, neither of the women wants that to happen. Turns out, being female is a lot better than the father origionally anticipated... Though, could that, too, simply be an effect of the spell?

I hope no one minds this, but I never got to complete this list. Was wondering if anyone else had any more imput to add to this, I need more ideas. :)

Shapechanger: a male wizard has been luring some men while shapechanged as a beautiful maiden. However, at some point the spell ended while he was frolicking with an important local paladin (whom he couldn't but be in love with). The paladin was shocked, yet the wizard managed to escape. However, there were witnesses. The paladin has gone mad (he feels extremely humiliated), and is on the verge on losing his paladinhood as he wants to exact a dire revenge (he is hesitating yet). Of course, there is complications as if the paladin loses paladinhood, some evil force patiently waiting around will take the opportunity to get the edge. (It happens that the paladin is the sacred guardian of a holy relic in the city's temple). As such, the evil force (through the sending of a succubus) are trying to stir mayhem from that event.
