I can wiggle my ears. I'm not able to wiggle them independantly, but I can wiggle them enough to move my glasses down my nose and catch people's attention. :)

I associate objects and people with colors. I don't know how else to explain it--a person might "feel" blue to me, or a book might "feel" orange, even when the cover is white.
It sounds like you have synaesthenia (or synesthenia without the first 'a'). About 1% of people do. The proportion of mathematicians and artists with synaesthenia is higher. The most common kind of synaesthenia is 'seeing' numbers coloured.

I've sat before a mirror for hours on end 'finding' muscles in my face and wiggling them until I have decent motor control. I taught myself to flare my nostrels, move my eyebrows independantly, and now I'm working on my left side sneer.

I have way the hell too much free time, it seems.

Maybe I'm just preparing myself for recovering from inevitible facial surgery.

I can will my mind to forget things that many others apparently can't.

Like certain grotesque pictures on the internet.

Then you'll have to learn to do it all over again. That sucks.
Once the numbness wears off (IF the numbness wears off), I'll be looking forward to starting all over again. Need to get the muscles strong now so the nerves don't need to do as much work.

I don't know how weird this is, but I can remember things from my past that even the people I shared those moments with can't recall. I correspond regularly with a few old HS classmates (from 23 years ago) and they are constantly astounded at the things, even whole conversations, I can recall.

I was conacted by an old GF a year ago (it'd been 17 years since either of us had seen or even spoken to each other) and we sat and talked for nearly 6 hours on the phone about "the old days". I could recall everything about our time together with crystal clarity, and she was blown away by the things I brought up, many of which were extremely trivial.
