Well, if animated Scifi is allowed, what about Aeon Flux, or pretty much everything else Peter Chung has ever worked on? And I'm sure there are plenty of animes that would fit, like FLCL or Excel Saga. Even more mainstream stuff like Akira was pretty surreal.
Yeah I was going to mention FLCL. Man, that series was wierd and yet so cool.

The main villain was played by Christopher Lloyd. I kept thinking that if he hadn't been on the show there wouldn't have been any reason to watch it.

I might agree with some of the other opinions- if I had ever seen or heard of them, but the weirdest I have seen would be Lexx.... I got Red Dwarf and though weird it had the humor and fun side... Lexx was just weird with a very bad repetitive story line.
