Happy B-Day awayfarer!

Starting in my mid-30s I continued to remember my birthdate but forgot how old I was (am)! I'd suddenly grow a year or two younger in my memory!

Strangely enough, I start considering myself the next year older at the beginning of the next year. I've been thinking of myself as 27 since january. I think it just gets less fun to keep track as you get older. When you're a kid, you had Transformers etc to look forward to.

I just got an Email from Enworld wishing me a happy birthday. I barely even remembered it myself.

I actually like that feature about EW. Last year I was stuck in LA and NO ONE around knew it was my birthday. Only EW sent me a message. Yeah, it was automated. But it was kinda nice.

So I went out and got myself a Ben and Jerry's.
