WereDragon Magazine seeks Freelancers

I'll add my 2 cents...

Weredragon Magazine is a brand new quarterly webzine that has recently released its first issue for download at Paizo Publishing's website. Its goal is to provide readers with top notch adventures and articles in the tradition of Dragon and Dungeon magazones.

The first issue was received with a lot of good words from the folks at Paizo and the next issue is planned to be even better than the first. So, why would they need your help if things are going so well for them...

Why, because they can never have to many contributions to select from.

I personally submitted one adventure, one article, and a new creature for the first issue and I can vouch for the fact that these guys pay. Now, it might be much akin to shooting myself in the foot as I let you folks in on this up and coming magazine's need for fresh new submissions but, well, I can only write so much and they have a target page count of 100 pages to fill.

I don't have a hundred pages of gaming goodness in me.

So, here I am on behalf of this young company trolling for talent.

If you have a desire to break into the RPG publishing industry as an author of quality d20 fantasy adventures, or if you have the skill to produce articles related to gaming, Weredragon Magazine could use your help.

Pay is based on a per issue sold basis so, while their reader base is currently quite small, it will continue to grow as these folks gather respect and reknown in the online publishing industry.

Paizo Publishing has already seen something worthwhile in this small publication and has featured them on site in their downloads area. I myself see something in this publication as I've already started to collect my residuals from them so, I can attest to the fact that they pay for what they get.

If you've got an adventure or an article that you'd like to see appear in a professional publication, you can't go wrong by submitting it to these folks.

Thanks for listening and be sure to check out this fine new magazine even if you aren't interested in joining the staff of artists and writers from Weredragon Magazine.

Writers
WereDragon Magazine is currently seeking freelance writers to create adventures, articles and how-to guides for our readers. Those interested may choose from our present list of articles seeking writers or submit their idea to us at submissions@weredragonmag.com. The game systems we are currently accepting adventures and articles for include everything except D&D 4E and Star Wars. We judge on the quality of your work, not on references, so first-timers are welcome.

Writer Submission Guidelines:
If you are a writer and wish to submit an article or column, please send us a brief synopsis of the article (outline if you are working on a feature article) along with an estimated word count and any required/requested art.
If you have created an adventure that you would like us to consider, send us a brief summary of the adventure, a sample map (if available) and sample creature/NPC as well as information on level ranges and experience given.

Writers also need to include the date on which their submission would become available, as well as their full name and a contact method other than email. Phone number, PO Box, and home address are all acceptable. This is to protect all involved against claims of copyright infringement. While your information will go into our files, it will only be viewable by the EIC and myself, and we will never use it for any other purpose.

Editors
We are looking to fill the positions of on-call editors. Experience with formatting and editing stat blocks is a huge plus, but not a necessity. We would prefer editors with playing experience in a wide variety of gaming systems. Basic copy editing skills are a must. If you believe that you can do the job but don't have the experience, we will give you a chance to prove yourself. Please email your qualifications to jobs@weredragonmag.com for consideration.

Please note that these are paying positions. Serious inquiries only.

Yeah, i love it so. very well for me.
