4 out of 5 rating for Werewolf: The Forsaken
As with my review for Vampire: The Requiem, Werewolf: The Forsaken has excellent design features, in both presentation and gameplay, but feels a little bland compared to it’s ‘Old World of Darkness’ equivalent. The politicised pro-environmentalist aspects are removed in favour of a more generic approach to the narrative - defending one’s (modern world) territory from spiritual, otherworldly antagonists. This is a good premise to play from, but I found the backstory a little un-engaging. The ‘WtF’ moniker is amusing, however!
