At this point, I'm looking at getting the minis and looking over the rest. We'll see how everything looks from there, and at the very least I may pick up a few things to convert over.

Looks Tome of Treasures/Adventurer's Vault and Martial Power are vying for number one.

I was wondering that myself. The only thing on that list that I was considering getting is the Manual of the Planes, but even that is somewhat tenuous, so I was looking for a "none of the above" option and was surprised not to see one.

Don't feel too marginalized ;)

I'll be getting all the Hardback books, with the exception of the adventure books, which at this time I'm not planning on buying, but may change my mind on that count when I read reviews of the adventures.

Tiles I probably wouldn't buy, and I may buy a box of minis or so, but I'm not sure yet.

It kinda depends how badly our economy tanks, and how much extra spending money I have.

I'll probably pick up a few boosters of each miniatures set just out of interest - I'm not collecting them for any real reason.

I'll buy all of the adventures, the hardback books - except, perhaps, the Forgotten Realms Campaign Guide and the Draconomicon, unless either is really good. I don't expect to need them, though, and I'll be getting the Forgotten Realms Player's Guide for general use. Eberron is the setting I'm looking forward to.

That would be the one tiny downside to getting books gratis from WotC for freelancing purposes: I miss out on little extras like that.

But since I still come out pretty far ahead, I'm not going to bitch too much. ;)

*hand to forehead* - Yeah, I kinda should have guessed that. Ah well, if I wasn't getting it for free, I would have bought it too. Even though I don't use a DM's screen - at all.

Open rolls FTW!

With the understanding that EN World is not representative of the D&D masses, don't you think this poll has some value to Wizards of the Coast in getting a general idea of relative demand for their products?

On the other hand, we could hope WotC doesn't take notice so that the print a bazillion deluxe editions and they end up remaindered for 9.98 a piece ;) (When I worked at Powells some years ago, they got tons of excess 3E DMGs a few months after they came out and sold them as remainders for 50-60% off cover price).
