What 21st Level Monsters Still Need Converting?

the Jester

Legend
This is the 21st level of the Monster Project. I know I still have one more 20th level critter to go, but I need access to my old-edition stuff to work on it, and that will have to wait until... I have access to my old-edition stuff. Meantime, I figure I can get started here.

What cool old monsters still need converting that would have a good 21st level baseline?

There's a link to the main Monster Project thread in my sig. Below is the list I have for so far for 21st level. I'd love suggestions for more!

The explanation might be that this is the first edition (in a long time) to feature more than 20 character levels (in any kind of "core" manner)?

One more bump.

There seem to be a lot less worthy monsters at higher levels.

That was certainly an issue that I had with running a high-level 3e game. I don't even recognize most of the monsters on that list, and of the ones I do recognize, only the cloud giant & the dino are "classic" monsters. The effigy and the ragewind were introduced in MM2? and I don't know the others.

Epic threat suggestions: (without knowing if some of these have already been converted)
Ulatharid (super-mind flayer from older abomination books)
Planetar (since you have solar up there)
in the same vein, old school guardinals? eladrins?
Efreeti are low-mid epic, so what about Djinni, Marids, Dao?
Omnimental, I think it's called (MM2)

Hot damn, you just gave me some good ones! :)

Thanks- a lot!! I'll add most of 'em to the list- although, to be honest, I'm not familiar enough with guardinals to do them justice, and I think the old-skool eladrin are just very high level new-skool eladrin. Plus, I have the same issue- my familiarity level with them is pretty low. So I could use some heavy suggestions (or even someone else doing the work!) on them.

The rest are going on the list immediately. :)

Edit: Except the djinn, who are in MM2. :)
